UriLog ("the App") is developed by Andrei Ezerskii ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data We Collect

The App collects only the data you explicitly enter:

Profile information — first name, last name, date of birth, gender, and body weight. This is used solely to personalise health reference values shown in the App.
Urination records — timestamp, estimated or measured volume, and any symptoms you choose to log.
Drink records — timestamp, volume, and drink type (water, coffee, tea, energy drink, alcohol, or other).
Generated reports — PDF summaries you create within the App for sharing with a healthcare provider.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

All data listed above is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate any servers, cloud databases, or backend services. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share a report or use Apple HealthKit integration.

3. Apple HealthKit

If you grant permission, the App integrates with Apple HealthKit to:

Read: biological sex, date of birth, body mass, and sleep analysis — to personalise recommendations and reference values.
Write: dietary water intake, dietary caffeine, and number of alcoholic beverages — to keep your Health data in sync with your drink logs.

HealthKit data is governed by Apple's own privacy controls and is never transferred to us or any third party. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in the iOS Settings app under Health > Data Access & Devices.

4. Apple Watch

If you use the companion Apple Watch app, records you create on the watch are transferred to your iPhone using Apple's Watch Connectivity framework. This transfer happens directly between your paired devices and does not pass through any external server.

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers a monthly subscription and a lifetime purchase through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

6. Analytics and Tracking

The App does not include any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking tools. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, device identifiers, or IP addresses.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party. The only ways data can leave your device are:

When you explicitly share a generated PDF report using the iOS share sheet.
When you enable HealthKit sync (data is written to Apple Health on your device).
When records sync between your iPhone and Apple Watch over the direct Watch Connectivity link.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. You can delete individual records within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data permanently.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
